Breaking in my KLX 300 riding in the Mojave desert
I've got about 70 miles so far on the new bike and am enjoying the smooth power and smooth ride.
So far I've got bar risers and a skid plate attached as the area I ride is pretty rocky. I'm also going to get some bark busters and better gloves for the cactus, I ran over a small piece with my front tire and it ended up on the back of my throttle hand so 15 minutes later after I pulled all barbs out I was able to take off my glove.
I got this bike to enjoy the single track trails located near my house and I've been having a lot of fun exploring since I'm new to the area having just moved in about 3 months ago.
I'm looking forward to lots of good rides and making the KLX into a desert explorer.
