500r problems

Default 500r problems
I just bought my new bike two weeks ago and when I get 4,500 rpms
it just start to lose power? Do I need to take it back or is it tokeep me
from going past that rpm range.

Thanks for the help.

You probably should get throught he brake in period beforeridingher at higher rpms, but there should not be any reason why you cant get above 4500 rpm.

as mentioned, there is no 4,500rpm govener that I am aware of. Welcome to the forums.

Yeah, you have a problem if it's losing power above 4.5k. Either an air leak, or an internal carb problem.

I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure that it's supposed to rev higher than that.
