2008 1500 classic new bike

Hi all my name is Slyhans just bought a brand new 1500 classic this weekend and my question is. It is DFI says on speed ometer and manual but why does it have a pull out choke by igniton switch manual also said some thing about pulling choke out on cold engine if it doesnt start. Can anyone help on this thanks.

Not sure about a manual choke on an FI, I know injected engines typically have a computer controlled cold start adjustment but I cant see any reason why it cant be manual.... Anyway, carbs are really easy to spot, if its got em you should be able to tell, otherwise its just what it says, EFI with a choke. Sorry I cant be more help, never messed with the 1500.
