Hi everyone, I am trying to find out more information on my bikes vin. F-240670. It is a modified model I believe was used as a scrambles race bike. It has 5 positions to move the foot pegs forward. 2 spark plugs and a compression release in the cylinder head. An extra large valve on each wheel besides the air valve and the rear wheel has balance wire on the spokes. I have already tried notifying a museum and kawasaki for any help with the vin. Any help would be great. I have owned the bike since 1987, but recently required it from my dad who saved it all these years.

Extra large valve? Are you sure that isn't a rim lock? That is one awesome bike. You might contact someone here Pelican Guano they had this image of a Greenstreak, the 238 after 1967, on their site.
Yous would be an awesome tike to fix up and ride at some vintage meets, like Mid Ohio Vintage Days.

thanks for the help. It looks like this bike has the same valve on the wheels. Must be some kind of rim lock. I am planning on doing a complete restoration down to the frame.
It was a flat track, and here and scrambled bike, some people did use it as a motocross bike. But it had trouble because of only being 238cc. And the front take was too squirrelly for motocross action. Only 999 made and according to the vin it was the 240th to roll down the line. For being so old I was surprised that every nut and bolt came off super easy. I am super happy that my dad kept it for me all these years. The memories will always be with me.
