Default Wet and black spark plug.

I just bought a 2007 KX 65. Mixing my gas and oil at 36:1.(good synthetic oil). I have been through 4 spark plugs in about a month. Bike runs good for awhile, then starts to bog and back-fire. I pull plug and its wet and a little oily. Replace it and its fine for a couple of rides. Then happens again. I have drained the gas and bought new, thinking maybe bad gas, and it ran great for a day of praciice until my sons first moto then off the line it bogged and back-fired again. (perfect timming) When I bought bike it wasn't idling at the store so the macanic did something to the mixture screw and then it seemed OK. Manufacture recommends 32:1. I don't know if I should run 40:1 and see if this helps or could it be mixture screw. Help Please.

if you have a brand new bike you should be using your warranty. Sounds like the mech made and extreme change to the mixture screw, make sure it gets fixed to manufacturer settings and do not put up with any BS for the dealer. I can only See the mixture screws being adjusted for altitude and then they would also be doing new jetting.

Everything sold new has a warranty. Better call back and start raising hell. Call kawasaki directly, I have a contact to the corp offices in Irvine Ca when I get to work I will get his # for you.

Besides what dealer is selling a full onrace bike, not to many I think.
