suspension maintanence
Hello,
While the seals look good on my forks and rear shock, I am wondering if I should service them as the bike is new to me. I know the previous owner rode it pretty hard and did not do a lot to maintain the bike. Is it worth replacing the oil in the front shocks? Or would you tear them down and completely rebuild?
I don't think the rear shock is serviceable by the end user from what I am being told. How do you check the nitrogen pre charge? What should it be charged to? If low, send it off to someone with the tools and knowledge to recharge it?
Thanks.
Jeff
