pain in the butt

Default pain in the butt

04 kx250f great bike but dang allready had to buy a new kick starter.FELL OFF. Timing mark plug on sidecase broke and fell off also. Now the dang thing wouldnt start. Pulled top cover off noticed one valve didnt have any clearance at tdc. Oh yeah ive had this bike forabout a month and a half.NEW. Who put these bikes together MONKEYS? So if anyone else has had any problems or anything to say about the bike hit this place up . Oh yeah it will bet the snot out of alot of 125's and my buddies brand new KTM 125.

Sounds like you've had some crappy luck! Is it under warranty or anything? If it is, I'd take it back.

sorry to here your experance,but a word here if the shop is crap and you can fix it your self you are better in the long run doing it yourself at least you will know it was done right this time good luck new member

Sounds like someone cranked the cams were over tightened. wierd. For the most part they are very reliable bikes and most of the people that have problems with them cause them by over-rev or lack of regular maintnance (oil filter, oil). But i guess like every manufacturer, there are always a couple bad eggs. Depending on how strongly you urge your dealer to contact Kawi, you could possibly get some assistance with the repairs and save some $$$. It may be worth it since their is no warranty on that unit.
