I have a 2001 kdx 250 that has shattered a piston. I have pulled the motor out and am looking to split the cases and have the crank redone. I need info on which side to lay the cases as to keep gearing intack, if that is an issue. Any help or download manuals would be appreciated. Thanks

 

Remember that the clutch pack is on the right and the gears and shifter on the left. Keep the left side up when splitting. good luck
