2003 kx250 wont start
the bike has been sitting for more than six months. I cleaned out the carb and put a new spark plug in but still wont start. my gas ration is 32:1 but I doubt that is the problem. the only previous problem has been the bike used to be run on hotter plugs but would still foul and so the original plug was put in and ran for a lil but sat for awhile and now it doesn't start. any ideas?

Have you verified you are getting spark? Take out the plug, put it back in the holder, hold it right next to the engine while you kick and see if you get a spark. A lot easier to do with a helper.
I would also drain the gas tank and put in some fresh gas. If you are using the crappy ethanol gas that most stations sells today, and it sits for 6 months it will likely have separated.
If the engine has good gas, has spark, and is getting air then it "should" at least start up. Running good is another issue, but at least get it started first.

It turned out to be a small adjuster on the throttle cable. I used some starting fluid and the bike idled insanely high. The bottom adjuster on the throttle cable had become loose causing 3/4 throttle. Its all good now thanks!
