Hello guys, new to the group. I just picked up a 2009 KX100 and it had no compression. Took everything apart and the piston was trashed, so I rebuilt the top end, jug was good. After getting it all back together and getting all the liquids back in it, it started up on the 3rd kick and ran great. I rode it for about 30 minutes and the dang thing locked up on me, long story short I pulled the head again and the new piston was trashed and burnt up again. Few questions... 1. What is the oiling system for piston? Is their some small oil pump? 2. What oil do y’all run in them? I have read 10w40. 3. In my research prior to this post I have seen people talking about these bikes not liking unless you are actively accelerating? Any advice would help and is greatly appreciated. TIA
