The gfs bike came with zeta folding levers. Brake is fine but clutch is short so less leverage and makes her wrist hurt on a longer ride. I tried going to the zeta site but am not sure exactly which perch and lever I have. I assume I have a 3 finger lever and want a 4 finger lever. But I can find part #s for a few 4 finger levers.
I also want to know if I can get a clutch switch. There is a place for one on the perch I have but I did not see that on the site either.

I will try to attach a couple photos for reference.

Anyone that can help me out can have the 3 finger lever at no cost including shipping.

Worst case I may be offering to trade the whole perch and lever for stock one if I cant sort out a longer lever and clutch.

I have the Zeta levers on my bike. I went with the 3-finger version, because I have small hands. The pull is much easier than stock, and I like the adjustable reach. Because my hands are small, they actually work like a 4-finger lever for me. I'm surprised she doesn't like them, unless she has big hands. You can buy the levers from Forest at Wheeling Cycle Supply. If he doesn't have the 4-finger version in stock, he can get it. And yes, from your picture it appears you have the 3-finger version, because it looks just like the lever on mine.

 

Looks nice. I have thought about getting short levers. What do these cost? ( ballpark$$)

I wonder why yours would be easier than stock but this bike they are much stiffer than stock? I guess I will call forrest. I have emailed him about some issures but he wont return my emails.

 

I don't know. When I had the stock lever, I could barely reach it, and it would cause hand fatigue when doing a lot of clutch work. The Zeta levers are one of my favorite mods to the bike. They feel like they were custom made for me. I only wish they made them for my Husky too. The clutch on the Husky requires some real strength.

You do know that they're adjustable reach, right? Maybe you just need to adjust the reach to where it's most comfortable for her.

 

I did adjust the reach down till fully pulled back it was still slightly engaged- evidenced by dificulty slipping the half step into neutral from above or below. Then I adjusted just a little the other way and thats where it sits now.
