na everythings cool... no hard feelings.. just vented a little.....

yea when u get that end cap post some pics... id like to see it... my red tip is fading, and im thinking of getting a nother one or maybe that whole new end... id like to see what it looks like

I don't get what you mean by "and when he put the new cam in, one valve shim was too much and the other was too little"...
Didn't the mechanic have valve shims? IMO, he should have adjusted the clearances on the exhaust side when changing out the camshaft... Obviously the tolerances are going to be different on the old and new shafts....???

he pretty much led me to believe that one shim was too much and the other was not enough it was right in the middle...

Yep, Dont make much sense to me either. That puppy should have been adjusted to Specs even if it was Warranty Work. IMO...

I guess the mechanic did adjust the clearances... EMS meant that one shim was too big, and another too small.
My shim kit comes in .05 increments. If I had to choose, I'd err on the loose side, because tight valves are bad mmmkay.
