Woohoo! I just got me a good deal on a set of C858s from www.tiresunlimited.com. I got the front (3.0-21) and rear (5.10-18) for $68.80 delivered. Not to shabby for exactly the set of rubber I have been looking for.

I definitely lucked into it. I called them this morning to get a quote on shipping. I found out late last week that they maintain an Ebay presence in addition to their normal storefront. The prices look to be exactly the same, but I noticed a little difference in the shipping (cheaper on Ebay). I called to see if I could work a little bit better deal on the combined shipping. As the rep was checking things out, he told me that the 5.10-18 was on closeout for $29 and change. I was waiting for him to really stick to me on shipping, but the shipping was less than expected. It was just a little over $15 for both tires. That sounds pretty much normal to me for two heavy items.

The bad news for me and anyone else that wants this tire set is that I got the last one at that price. He can get more at their regular price ($45 something), but no more at the closeout.
