RE: Yamaha supermoto
I dunno... I bought an '07 KLX about a month ago. I looked at the WR's and thought the styling was hiddeous. I'm sure they're fine bikes but when Icheckedthe price tag I walked. I bought my '07 for $4,199 so it was an easy choice. I really don't like the tires on the WR for starters. I'll be using the KLX to drive to work and to explore for new trails locally. Truthfully I'm a stubborn old2 stroke ridersomost of these bikes seem slow to me.I really fell in love with the KLX styling and can't wait to get past the break in period and open it up. Most of my off road riding will be on my KDX 200.
On a side note with regards to out-dated technology on a dual sport, take a look at the DR 200 and the CRF 230L. Honda is asking $4499 for the CRF230. When you take into account the CRF suspension, seat heigth and the fact that it's air cooled It's not worth spending that kind of money. And the DR200 hasn't changed much since the '80's

I think the yami would be a blast to zip around on,if kawi would open their peepers and see that the U.S. market is crazy over SM bikes they'd have a real hit.KTM,BMW,suzuki and honda are having no problem selling SM's.(I know I left a few out)
