Default Won't starty out of the blue

So my bike sat for 2 weeks, carb was empty, and now it won't start. Absolutely doesn't sound like it wants to catch. I was going to pull the plug to see if I get spark. Any other ideas?

Yes make sure the gas was on, and the choke pulled, it should fire up right away. How is the battery? Is it cranking slow? Do you have a battery maintainer?

Have you tried spraying ether in the air box.

I've had trouble starting mine after it sits for a few weeks. I figured that's just normal for a biek with carbs, that's been jetted wiht a freeer flowing exhaust.

I tried letting it sit for a few minutes. I've also had luck holding the chock with my hand while I thumb the starter. I've also turned off the choke and cycled the engine with the throttle partially open. For starting my engine when it's warm, I always need to open the throttle slightly with hte choke off to get it to light.

Definitely make sure you are getting spark. Also, open the carb bowl drain to see if any fuel is actually reaching the bowl.Might nothurt to see how much fuel is in your tank as well. You might be hitting reserve.
