Picture of Silver Otter (Ted) A nicer guy you will never meet, and if I have even half the skills when I'm his age I'll be doing alright. Thanks Ted for meeting up with us. Maybe next time I'll take you up on the offer to test out the 300 upgrade.

Now I hope you know I meant that in the best way, you rocked, and your skills made you look younger than me. I'm so sore today I couldn't hardly move. Man that was fun. We need to do it again soon. [sm=smiley20.gif][sm=massbounce.gif][sm=happybounce.gif][sm=groupwave.gif]

Howdy y'all. KLRcarl here, this is my first post on Kawi Forums, that's how much Saturday's Wildcat ride meant to me. Ted, thank you very much for posting the pix! Waiting for John to get back to me regarding his. Once I get 'em I'll post them here, if I can figure out how. Anyway, wanted to thank everyone for adopting us poor KLR-elephants into your KLX-wolfpack. My buddy Skye is recuperating nicely, let's hope his pride does as well.
When I showed my other, two-wheelin' friends those pix & told them how much fun it was(esp Tahuya), they all wanted to go out! So my question is this--where can we RENT little dirt bikes? I called two dealers but no-go. I expect to have to truck them over there, and realize we'll hafta put like a grand in cash down as deposit, but SOMEBODY should rent them, right?
Oh, and in case any of you were curious about the bike mods, or my various misadventures down south, please check out

Oh, and shoot me an email next time y'all go out!

Thanx,

Carl

Awesome Carl, I have to hand it to you and Skye for going where we did on those bigger bikes and not as aggressive tires, you guys rocked!! I took a look at your trip to Mexico, some crazy stuff down there, you looked like you had a blast. I don't really know of a place that rents DS bikes, but if you looking to get into the game a little better, look on Craig's list, there are always DS bikes, some old some new but always there. Later man.

Thanks Deej! Everyone's so supportive of our making it to the top on those beasts, is that a nice way of saying "Yes, we know you're an idiot for bringing a knife to a gun-fight, but at least it's a cool knife & you can juggle it well before getting shot"??? & I guess John DID post those pix(thanx, man) at
