Had the hard starting problem, on a 2012 model. Figured it was my mods, or something silly, but found a thread that said just pull the choke out a little (instead of all the way). What an amazing help that was. Can't say enough. I don't remember who it was, and the search engine sometimes doesn't work, so I hope you read this and accept my appreciation for your knowledge in this area. I was worried that the mods had somehow screwed up things, but it didn't make sense. Now all is well. So, thanks to the Idaho, Montana, Washington, Cal., NY, etc. You have all been fantastic. Such a fun bike to play with and ride. Happy Hollidays
