Here is what I have come up with:
Headlight Detail for 2006 KLX250S

Headlight Detail for 2006 KLX300R

The diagrams for each of the headlight covers appear the same from the back view, but slightly different from the front view. The part numbers are different. The KLX250S cover is part number 23005-5052-290 which covers the headlight with part number 23007-1372. The KLX300R cover is part number 23006-5050-290 which covers the headlight with part number23007-1246.
I have found from previous experience with some levers I was trying to replacethat you can not always count on the picture on the Kawasaki site to be exactly what the part looks like.
I am tempted to give it a shot, but my gut tells me that they are different. I think the lens for the KLX300R is smaller than for the KLX250S.
Again, does anyone have any experience comparing these two items?
Thanks,
Chris
I would bet they are a little different, the one on ebay looks like it has straps that go around the fork tubes to hold it on, and the klx250s one has bolts or screws to hold it on... but i bet the headlight is real close to the same size... i would imagine you could get it to work, call ur buddy mcgyver..... lol... but i thinkit would work... if you get it cheap it would be worth a try.
