My 2009 KLX250 digital dash no longer works. I'd like to replace it and in the process not lose the mileage on the bike. Can anyone tell me whether or not that info is stored in the dash unit? If I plug a different dash into the bike's harness will I lose that info?

Might go to a Trail Tech Vapor dash if swapping for a replacement kawasaki dash will change the mileage readout anyway.

 

99.9% certain it's in the dash.
