HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.............. ..........You're kidding right?

Because I just put in some new muffler bearings.

Could you please post a link. I've been looking for some new ones but haven't found any. Mine have lost their low end rumble. Thanks in advance.

Sorry no link. I took mine to a shop and had them do it. I don't know too much about them, and the quote I got to have it done was only $500. I thought that was a deal, so I just let them do it. They run smooth as butter now.

Red if you're talking about cutting the gob of 14 black wires that run to that plug, they all basically need to be connected to one another. There is a jumper in the plug that connects each wire to every other wire in the plug. Some of them come out of the plug and run to other plugs up front to provide a ground. I cut them all and ran new grounds to the things up front that needed one. There were six of the wires that ran back through the wire harness to other points on the bike. I soldered all of them together along with a connector wire to the other grounds.
I removed the 14 wire ground plug, the stock gauges plug, the ignition switch. the clutch switch, and wired in the X2 headlight and the Vapor. I was a little nervous doing so much at once. Thanks to my friends here, and TNC, for lending me some knowledge to get through the project with some confidence.
Did you catch that TNC??

Bike works like a charm (thank you baby Jesus)

First cut!! What am I doing?

I soldered the wires, and used heat shrink tubing to seal things up and do a neat job.

Much cleaner, and more room for the close fitting X2 headlight.

What a job! Congratulations for succeeding in rewiring it all.

RedPillar, does your bike run, now that Dan has soldered everything?

LOL!...now dan, pay close attention. Red's bike won't start now that "you" cut "your" wires. Get it? Now please insert my best 3 Stooges "nyuuuk, nyuuuk, nyuuuk" laugh at this point.

But seriously, good work on cleaning things up there. But neither you nor Red have gotten it right yet. You went with black and he went with white...when the heck is someone going to get the correct color?...GREEN!

Dan, I am going to pull on the black/yellow wire, can you look and see if it moves on your bike?
