Look for a leftover 2013 or 2012 or maybe even older model. I got my 09 in '10 for $3500 out the door, I didn't even have to haggle as that was the sticker price. I probably could have gotten it cheaper but it was the bike I wanted and the price was fair so I didn't bother.

The economy has gotten a bit better since those days though (allegedly) so there might not be a lot of leftover bikes sitting around anymore.
