Dear All,

A year ago I had my beloved KLX 250 stolen. It was recovered in a pretty sad state. Unfortunately I have not been able to look at it since then. Time and 2 to 3 bikes later I am able to move on and have decided to do something to recover some lost money (as no insurance for theft in Cyprus) and to help my fellow KLX 250 comrades.

Therefore if you would like to take a look at the attached pictures and let me know if you would like any of the remaining parts before I strip it and put the bits and bobs on ebay.

I have the 250 cylinder and piston still as it now has a custom kraft 330 cc cylinder and wossner piston. This would be the jewel in the crown and is available at a fair price. Just send me an offer. By the way as you can see I am in Cyprus and I know most of you guys are in the USA. Not to worry as postage is fairly reliable and should only take a couple of weeks. I know as I had to send the piston back to Kustom, last year. Just need to be patient but I am willing to send it anyway if you are willing to pay.

Also got a 13 t front sprocket which i never put on.
This was quite hard to find.

 

What is the VIN #? Post pictures of it please.

 

The frame vin was filed off by the persons who stole it.
Here is a picture of the registration form.
Vin is the J number.

Is there any other place the vin is printed on the bike other than the head stem.

 

Are you selling the 330 bits?

 

Yes I will sell the cylinder and piston.
As mentioned I have the old 250 one as well if anyone wants that.

Any part that is on the bike is up for grabs.

 

ahnh, really? I think the shipping for a wheelset from Cyprus (east end of the Mediterranean) would be rather steep!!!

I have never heard of a KLX250 being stolen in the U.S. I don't think they're worth enough here for theives to risk the jail time.

Yeah rgoers, it is not worth the hassle to steal this bike. Thy must have been pretty dumb because as you can see they hardly took anything of value, but they did manage to ruin it. It did have a fmf core and dynojet on it though, but you have to sell this to someone else who has a klx250. Very much doubt if there are that many here. Anyway in Cyprus, legal system is ****e so they would just get a fine and prob minimal jail time if any.

Also have a Reikon handlebar which is black and is a lot stronger and lighter than the stock one. If anyone is interested. Its as good as a renthal.
