The D.I.D. or the stocker? My stock chain looks like POO, I've got just shy of 4700 miles on the bike. I very regularly clean and lube it but its not looking so hot.

 

If your are wondering if you need a new chain, the next time you have the chain off, lay it on the floor of your garage, and if you can make a smiley face out of it then its way past done.

Another way to tell if your chain is worn out, is to pull the chain directly from the back of the rear sprocket and if it comes off the teeth more that 1/4 to 1/2 inch, the chain and or sprockets need changed.
