What spare parts do you carry?
So after putting in a big order for stuff that I should be carrying in my pack or pelican (low pressure tire gauge, tire inflator, patch kit, extra tubes, axle wrench, tire irons, blah, blah, blah) it dawned on me that I should be carrying some spare parts as well. The question is which ones...brake lever, clutch lever, shifter arm/peg, rear break arm/peg...since they all have to come from kawi that could get pricey. So what's everyone carrying?
With a four stroke you don't really need to pack a spark plug. That's one nice thing.
I pretty much only pack the tool kit and zip-ties. Of course I live in Hawaii and can't even get any further than 60 miles from my house on this island. So I guess it depends on what kind of expedition you're planing. Some first aid items might be in order if you're really goin off the beaten path.

As far as bike parts, I carry a spare clutch lever and a master link. That's about it. Some tool bags things that I've added over the years are a collapsible camping cup to transfer gas from one bike to another. A tow strap comes in handy sometimes. I have one of those small LED head lights (for my head) that I carry too. Of course you only need this stuff if you're not riding solo.
