Sorry, my fault he just got under my skin.

To the point at hand, the DRZ vs KLX was a tough decision for
me and the salesmen did push the DRZ. But basically I chose
the KLX because it appeared to be more of a dirt bike ie lighter,
more nimble and less tiring in sugar sand. This is a pic of my
local sand pit. I have no idea how a DRZ would handle this but
I bet one of our experienced riders could tell us.

Man I'm glad there is no sand here, well once I went down by a river and there was some dry sand and I barely got through it. I'll stick to the gravel hard pack and dirt trails.

Deej you'd love sand, WOT in second just to stay up (at least for me)....... but you don't
have to clean your bike when your done, its sandblasted clean.

Edit: I forgot the most important and best part, sugar sand is soft during a wipeout.
