I Usualy just get the reg Kawi oil. Thinking of switching to synthetic when the snow melts.

I mostly use Castrol Actevo M/C oil. It's semi/syn and is usually cheaper than the the other M/C specific brands. Last change I used Lucas M/C semi/syn oil that I found at the auto parts store. It was a pretty good deal too.

I started using Amsoil last summer, but when I couldn't find it one day, I switched to Mobil 1 synthetic instead at Walmart. I just noticed the Amsoil has jumped in price where I used to buy it from $14/litre to $20/litre...ouch...I bet Mobil 1 has done the same.

It's a conventional oil.
20W50 is OK for the warm weather, I believe anything above freezing. That info is in your manual.
It's $4/L, and every Canadian Walmart has it.

Any comments on LEARJET"S reply? He's saying motorcycle oil has special additives for the trans and clutch. I wouldn't want to ruin my clutch because I used the wrong oil.

canklx, use motorcycle oil. Dont use automotive oil. There are additives in motorcycle oil for wet clutch systems.
I always use the Spectro 10w/40 semi synthetic motorcycle oil. Its about $8.00 a quart
