Seems like a good buy to me, without looking at any pricing. Just looks like a good value. I like the look of it, including the bags, and for my motorcycle leanings, that says a lot to me.

You might consider not blowing out the 250 quite yet if you don't need to, give it some time to see if the KLR will do everything you want.

I thought about that, the main reason is the highway ability of the klx and even though i put a seat concepts seat on it, it hurts like H in 20 minutes of riding, but i have a lot of time/coin doing all the mods i wanted. I will probably sell my old atv first(just bought a 2014 polaris sportsman 800 2 weeks ago) and see if i need the money or not or if i will ride both. I really don't HAVE to sell it.

Where you are might make keeping the KLX a good idea as long as it doesn't hurt financially. That's where I'm at with my two KLXs (big & small).

Man I didnt want to hear that because I just ordered a complete seat from them and that wasnt cheap ! I have back injury's and the stock seat is pain just to sit on it let alone ride on it.

I sure hope their seat works for me

Thats what bothers me now, I have Herniated discs in my lower back and just riding around the yard hurts, I feel it in my lower spine " Tail Bone " as you said. Is it at least better than the stock seat ? If I can get a 30 min ride in without added pain that would be great.
