[QUOTE=TNC;512503]Yeah, but don't take it so seriously. It's fun having a brand A versus brand B discussion about cars, trucks, bikes, etc. It's not religion. Just don't bring up motor oils.[/QUOTE

And in response to this Oh...and Mopar sucks!
No response needed, Mopar Rules. Have you seen the new Challenger hellcat? 707 HP spanks corvette, camaro. viper and any other...

Thank you for telling and showing us. But were Mopar engines actually that color? I thought they were blue or something, not what looks like competition orange... but then what do I know. I can't remember that far back anyway and it does look good.

At least with oils you don't have bastardized cartoons of Calvin pissing on a can of Pennzoil or Valvoline...

Mark, I've been watching that series Graveyard Carz on the Velocity channel. It's about a Mopar expert restoration on numerous Mopar musclecars from the day. I was surprised that some of those big Mopar engines were factory painted with what looked like Chevy orange, though I think they called it something else...of course. I love that show. You learn more than you ever wanted to know about Mopar history. Pretty neat.

I say the 6bt is the best, most available power, least complicated, no electrical. Known to put on 1 million + miles with nary an issue

nice, i sold my 68 charger rt 8 years ago or so. 440, hemi 4 speed, dana 60 track pack car, i wish i had it back...
my Cuda, isn't actually a "Cuda" Its a Barracuda Gran coupe. Very few Gran coupe's got a high performance big block because they were "supposed" to be the luxury version of the Cuda, mostly 318 and /6 cars. Mine is 1 of 674, they were only made in 70@71. Its Ivy green metallic with a white vinyl top and white leather interior with overhead console.

I'm a Ford guy.
But the GF is all Pontiac. A '71 LeMans with 300K miles that she's had for over 30 years. Wrecked three times by her, at least once a "total." We took it to a local burger-joint car show tonight and it got lots of looks. Then back to her place under the shade for a wax job. She's showing it next week in the Boise Motorfest.

What's the point?

We like motors. Bikes. Old cars.

To you whiny asses out there, please don't **** on the parade.

And don't tell me about your Prius.

Thanks for showing us your 'Cuda mtnman. I like it.
And damn, that's a sweet eight track.

I'll be looking closer at some of the cars Friday... Goodguys PPG Streetrod Nationals at Ohio State Fairgrounds. So big you can't see it in one day... but I'll have to suffer seeing what I can, because Friday night is the AMA Vintage half-mile in Ashland and then it's to Mid Ohio for the vintage weekend.

Gonna be a good week... the Superbike weekend is the one after that and I got the full two weekend ticket package.
