Default What brand of piston

I posted this on TT too. I got this with that cylinder I got off ebay. Anyone recognize what make it is and what set of rings will work with it? I measured it and it is 80mm, 2mm over from the stock KLX300 bore.

Lucky Dog!!! You really DID score on that Ebay deal, didn't you

Must be the cheapest "315cc kit" in the history of human kind.
Let us know how the installation & tuning goes when you get there.

Sounds like a good deal, FD. I didn't see the ebay listing, do you know who's liner is in the cylinder?

No idea. It's bored and honed straight though. The bore is 3.1525. The piston is about .005 clearance at the fattest part of the skirt. It's slightly tapered so it's hard to tell. The bore shows some use but not too bad. You can see where set of rings seated. A quick run through with the hone to break that up won't take much. I ordered a set of rings and a top end gasket set of a KLX300. I hop I did the right thing with the gaskets. All I think I really need is the head and base gasket.

I need a ring compressor. I'm not doing the hose clamp thing again.
