Yeah, your seat is just held on by the two bolts at the rear of the seat and the front slides over a pin. so you kind of have to slide it back and up to pull the seat off.

Anywho, if you are in a rush, and don't make sure it is fully hooked on the pin, it will be loose and make noise.

My seat has a tendency to squeek every now and again. You can see where vibration causes chafing between seat and gas tank. I just slap some grease on her (the chafing section), then I'm ready to ride. That wasn't intended to sound dirty either.
