Default Waterproof storage mod

I've been using the bike for more for commuting lately and less for off road shenanigans so I decided I needed some extra storage. I needed it to be both lockable and waterproof so I went with an aluminum diamond plate tool box. I used 3 U-bolts to securely attach it to the rack. When the lid is open they can easily be removed for off road fun. I've had it on for about a week now and its been great. Holds all my rain gear and keeps things dry. At first I didn't like it that much because its kinda big and bulky but its starting to grow on me the more I use it! Hope this helps if anyone was thinking about some storage options.
sorry for the crappy camera phone pics

That's cool. I like that you painted it black.

It's HUGE! I'm assuming you can drop a helmet in there, as well as some extra fuel, a couple cases of beer... and maybe a kayak or two...

Seriously - nice work. I NEVER have enough storage space on mine...

Thumbs up

Nice work - thinking simple usually yields the best results. This is probably a much cheaper option too.
