How many gears are you trying to go through at a stop? If you're trying to go from 3rd to N at a stop, you will have problems. You may not realize you are doing it. I didn't. Motorcycle gears like to be moving when shifted. Make a conscious effort to be in 2nd before you come to a stop. You won't have any issues getting to N then. If you are trying to drop 2 or 3 gears while at a stand still, the gears will fight you. I just went through this myself. This bike likes to shift while moving. I thought something was up with the my bike. I tried a few different oils as well. Once I figured out the problem was me and changed the way I rode it, the issue went away.
