get the skid plate, trust me, mine has a fat dent in it that would other wise be in the frame. probally from that 70 mile per hour double i wasnt expecting, been safer on fire roads sence.
Definitely a good investment and so are skid plates! Turbo city has a nice skid plate with engine guards set up.
