Default Just installed my unabiker rad guards

Well, I didn't wait for the group buy since I needed a new set for my XR650R too. (Don't ask...)

No pictures since I left my camera at work, but the install went fairly easy with no tweaking or bending involved. Not exactly intuitive but not that hard either. The right side with the fan was a little more difficult, but with a dry fitting or two it was easy to figure it out. My clutch cable guide was just touching the front fender but easily fixed with a tie-wrap.

I haven't got a chance to ride with them yet, but I hope I never get the chance to test them. [:-] They are definitely rigid enough and triangulate the radiator well.

One of the bolts in the kit was not threaded, a fluke from the bolt factory. No big deal since I have plenty of metric bolts and nuts in the junk drawer.

Anyway, I'll get some pictures of the installed guards in the next day or two. Looks pretty much like the ones on VFR's.

Pic?
I won't get to see mine for weeks and I'm dying to see them mounted.

Those look pretty sharp. Were they heavy? How much do ya think they weighed?

Not really sure other than 'real light'. I was amazed that the box they shipped in had both my KLX and XR guards in it. It felt really light.
