Hey gang. I have an almost brand new 2-bros M7 slip-on exhaust with a P3 power tip. It probably has 20 - 30 minutes on it. That's it. I bought it and it makes great power but I also live in a retirement community and my neighbors gave me living hell every time I started up the bike. Hey Markcr,
As a good alternative, get a hold of a KLX300 oe exhaust system. I think mine was from a 99 not sure exactly what will work(most will) I paid $50 for mine from a guy on craigslist. I has an exhaust opening of 3/4'ths on an inch wersus 1/2 of an inch. The bike runs much better, has a nice throaty sound(like it should) and is very quiet. No more complaints from the nieghbors.
