Could These Levers Work
#2
They might work, but they won't work with your brake light...
I'm using a non OEM replacement and lost my brake light on the front brakes. Furthermore, the button for the brake lights - the lights are tripped when the button is OUT, so you'll also have to keep that button pressed down to keep your brake lights off.
Furthermore MORE, the part that sticks out to trip the brake lights also keeps the brake lever from pivoting forward and swinging out.. So, if you're missing the brake light arm, yor lever will flip forward. Not safe.
In a pinch - I have found that the levers from an 01 yamaha 427 will work (without brake light still)!! Almost NO ONE will stock the KLX levers - you have to order them online.

I just put an ASV C5 on my bike on the clutch side. Go onto ebay and search refurb ASV and then go into the company store. It is ASV selling all of there blemished stuff which for a dirtbike who cares! I got mine for 22.50 plus shipping.
