Trading KLX for KLR.. Crap?

I have both & wouldn't trade either of them for the other. They both do somethings little different......... I have done big mileage trips on the KLX but the KLR is better at that. The KLR is no good on the off road trails I sometimes take the KLX on........

Agreed. I find my KLX650 can motor around cars/trucks when passing, where the 250 isn't as strong. I'm sure the KLR is more comfortable on the road than my KLX650, but my 650 is more comfortable than the 250. But when the road turns to trail, no contest - the 250 is so light and agile I can ride quicker on it than horsing the 650 around. Thus I have the two KLXs and don't see any change in the garage in the near future.

I ended up keeping my KLX. I think my plan will be purchase an older model KLX so I have both.
Thanks for the help guys, appreciate it. (Although my wife might hate you, if I purchase a KLR i'll be up to 7 bikes LOL)
