Default Trading KLX this weekend

I've thoroughly enjoyed being a viewer (and sometime participant) of this fine board. Especially those that have shared their knowledge patiently with others that didn't always want to listen. But, I'm trading my KLX this weekend for a Pacific Coast motorcycle, AKA: The Tupperware Bike. I'm also selling my KLR650...getting out of dual sporting all together, and getting back on bicycles for my off-road fix. It's just too easy for me to hop on a motorcycle instead of pedalling hard, and my fitness level just keeps dropping. Partly that's age, but, mostly it's because I'm just not exercising like I should be, and, I lose a lot of wildlife viewing when on a motorcycle. Lastly, even though I'll still have some dirt-sampling to do on a bicycle, I'll be much more likely to be going less than 30 mph if I'm on a mountain bike.

Anyway, thanks again for having this great board for the KLX...and, I'll steer the new owner here. I'm sure he'll be just as impressed as I was.

Sorry to see you go, Blackheart. I've appreciated your helpful recommendations and insight. Keep on riding, in whatever form you choose.

Yeah, but, it's even uglier. It's YELLOW. A banana motorcyle. I figure I can tinker with it over the winter, ride it next year, and if I don't like it, I bet I can sell it for what I would have sold my KLX for....so, I'll come out even. OR, I'll really like it, because my family members would be able to go with me...which I wouldn't do on my KLX.

We'll see. I've only owned about 30 different bikes the past 45 years!

Well, my KLR selling price will buy me a decent full suspension 29er All Mountain Bike. I've got to get in shape to do a Telluride, CO, to Moab, Utah ride in late June. Wish I could keep both my current bikes, buy the PC for it's "old-school-nerdy-coolness", AND get a good mountain bike!
