I used Hammerite when I shortened the GF's kickstand and it looks the match.

 

Is that Rustoleum Hammered color that matches the '06 the same as on an '07? My brake pedal is silvery, but my frame seems to be a bit darker than the pedal on my bike and has a hammered patina.

The paint can's lid in rgoers link seems to match my frame, but the hammered look isn't showing up in his photo of his finished brake pedal. It just looks silver-like mine

 

The hammered finish isn't very pronounced, and depending on how you apply it, you can get it to look pretty smooth...

I'm not sure if the '07 and '09 silver is the same color. Anybody else know for sure???
