wonderful --- is there anything worse than finding out that what you did to your bike is completely screwed up? alright, as far as i know, everything is ok. please no one else jinx me. if anyone thinks my overtightening was great and may actually improve the performance of the klx, please feel free to chime in anytime. so all joking aside, it sounds like you are saying that the bolt is what would be damaged, not the case. so before the head snaps off, i should replace those two bolts?

I'm not saying to replace anything..if its not broke don't fix it..I just thru in my opinion that I feel the bolts are soft staright from the factory..I am never a fan of chroming up a bolt that has a mechanical function..I find these types of bolts tend to strip (round the corners) very easily..sorry for the alarm...my bad
