Default together again

Well got the 351 kit in and the bike fired up. It was 34 degrees but I had to go for a ride to check it out. Wow. I gained a little weight this year taking care of my wife so I'm a little on the ugly side of 250. Before I had to reef the bars to pull the front wheel in 1st. It now carrys the wheel through second just with the twist of the throttle. Can't wait to put a few miles on the new rings so I can take it out and see what it will really do. I sure wish I had skipped the 300 kit and gone straight to the 351 and the mikuni carb.

There's "no replacement for displacement" ... and a pumper carb.

A few more of these "I love my big bore kit" posts and I'll have to start figuring out how to explain that big new charge on the credit card.

Hey, it's your fault, you figure an explanation and PM me please.

Well I found out if you beg long enough and then throw in a new couch and chair or new carpet you can usually get some parts. For really big parts a cruise might have to be added.

Well, your bike could develop a "fault"

"Well my love, it will be much cheaper to "repair" it than replace it"

And remember, forgiveness is always easier than permission.

Listen to Neil, I think he's spent more than he could honestly justify a few times.
The engine blew up and it's cheaper to fix it than buy a new bike one would work at my house. I think. What shape is your couch in?

Funny Im getting the GF a sf model for christmas. Since she will be stock and I will have the 330 and pumper carb I'm trying to figure out how to work it so I can upgrade to a 351 and she gets the 330 when she asks why hers is slower. Cuz there is no way I want her to have a displacement and weight advantage on me!

Good luck with the displacement difference. This is a joke between Jo Ann & me I keep telling her she will never know when I do more modifications to my bike she always knows the difference in sound & performance. Any thing i do to my bike I do to her bike this keeps her happy.
