Default Throttle Tube

My oem throttle tube cracked. Noticed after I took off to replace the bars ( pro taper 7/8 ) and grips. Is the oem plastic a good choice or is there a better quality one ?

The stock one has a funky plastic ridge built in and comes with grips glued on if memory serves. I went with one of the generic ones from MotionPro... don't remember the specific one, but there are threads here on the subject.

A little file work and the ridge is gone... but there is a Zeta quick turn throttle tube that will work the throttle a bit quicker - less twist of the wrist to get full throttle. I like that myself. I'd even like it if it was a bit quicker. Heck, the bike is only a 250 so quicker action is better action for me.
