Default Throttle ALL IN PIECES.....

WOW did I mess up.............3 days ago a was in the process of adding new grips, bars and guards.
Well-long story short, I am still at it today(wife is buying hairspray)---The throttle is in pieces. One piece looks like some kind of cable guide....Now how do I route the cables?? One to either side of the grip thing, it doesn/t feel right, it's not pulling the cables or returning back>>>
If anyone happens to have pictures of this..it would really help!!!! If I add the white cable guide thing in the one side than put both cables in the latch thing with holes why isn't it working right.
I know I may sound too technical BUT if anyone could understand me and issue some guidance,I would be most appreciative!!!!

Yeah it's a bit fiddly isn't it. Mines apart at the moment but I have to go out. If you haven't got it done when I get home I'll take some pix for you.
In the meantime the parts diagram @ Kawasaki.com might help you. Go here select motorcycle, pick KLX250S from the list on the right, click on 2006, click on parts diagram, click on handlebar it shows the parts sorta in position

Thanks for reply.......I got it though....The trick is to make sure the top cable is in thefar slot and rotated around clockwise to the front of the bike than take the bottom cable and pull out while trying to fiddle it into the other slot.
Seems wrong at first, but with the throttle all assembled it works and actually feels tighter than before which is good cause I had too much play!!!

I LOVE the green bars and MOOSE guards..... it gives the bike a different look from stock!!!

Too bad the weather here in NJ is turning Cold..........I'm thinking of taking the stock tires and screwing some small self tappers in the thick parts and use them for snow. Than order some Kendas or 606's for the spring!!!

With these small mods I really think this bike looks even better........got a ways to go before I do any performance mods with the engine or carb,,,,,,,,,,happy with stock for now and I figure once I get better at riding, I'll do the mods and it'll be like a new bike...

Be safe and Have A GREAT HOLIDAY!!!!!!!!!! to all.........

When I get the manual in the mail, maybe it will say.
I just tightened it down real good without stripping anything and it has been fine.
Actually took some pretty decent wipeout's and NO movement at all!!!
