if you worry about "are my turn signals legal" in cali, dont be, period. i run what has to be the smallest turn signals known besides just a led, and was just stopped by a moto cop (know to be the WORST around here) on my way home. hes started very respectful with "how are you", which was nice so i was also very polite back. he then asks where my turn signals? i point to the rear fender with the 2 quarter sized bumps i call turn signals (at this point im thinking fix-it ticket), and he shakes his head, kind walks around the bike checking it out. he then proceeds to ask who converted the bike for street use, i reply with it has been street legal sence day one from the factory, he shakes his head again. he then states that he stopped me cus HE COULDNT SEE MY TURN SIGNALS BUT WHAT I HAD WAS ADEQUATE (how does that make sence). guess anything does for lighting in cali.

 

Did you "signal" when pulling over to the side? If so, he say your lights.

Bet he just wanted to see that Great KLX!

 

yes i signaled, but i think he thought i didnt. and i think he wanted to see the bike too. ive seen him a thousand times as i ride daily and he must have wanted to see it up close. cop or not, he rides daily too.
