HID light installation

HID light installation
Finally got the HID light kit from e-bay ($60). I also bought some ty-wraps and 3/8 inch protective tube. (photo 1).
I had to remove the front plastic cover around the head light and the side cover to expose the battery. I installed the new HID bulb, ballast and wire harnest. I ran every wire through protective plastic tube. I used one of the gas tank mounting bolt to secure the ballast (photo 2).
Photo 3 showing the "before", photo 4 showing the "after" and photo 5 taken from the front with the new HID light.
The light is whiter (I bought the 6000K light) and a lot brighter.
The new light needs only 35 watts compared to 55-65 watts.
I had to re-adjust the beam because it was lower than the original beam (used some electric tape on the wall before removing the original bulb).
Looking forward to road-test this $60 beauty tonight...

Just got back from road test: very satisfied on road and in the woods.
It is powerful and bright like hell !
Pete: I also have the high/low beam but let me tell you some: don't need to put the high beam cause the low beam is powerful enough (the high and low beam are actually the same power, some coil just lifts the beam up and down)
