Any TM36 owners out there that received a manual with there pumper. I just bought one off ebay and didn't come with any papers. I'm looking for a manual/tuning manual anything. Anyone have a reference to a PDF manual?

 

There is no manual per se. Mine didn't come with any paperwork either. Through much googling, I found out that the TM36-68 and the Mikuni HS-40 are the same carb, just different sizes. The tuning manual for the HS-40 can be found at http://www.mikuni.com/pdf/hs40_manual.pdf.

That will explain how to diagnose jetting, how to setup the accelerator pump and stuff like that. As for specific jetting, that seems to be a mixed bag. Some guys seem to get away with the stock jetting, while others (like me) had to resort to different needles and pilot jets. Try the stock jetting first and see how that works for you.
