Default Is there a sleaker front light option for 06

Just wondering if the front light and surrounding plastic for a 2006 could be swapped out with any of the newer years more sleaker designs...or if there were any other alternatives.

Thanks

Black Trailtech X2 with KLX graphics! Makes the front of the bike look just plain mean Good price and considerably brighter than the stock light.

Here is where you can find it: X2 Kawasaki Kits: Dual-Sport Torch Halogen at Trail Tech Home

Scroll down to see the graphics as well. I have the black light with the KLX graphics and it looks fantastic. I will take a picture in a while and post it here for you to see.

I also have the X2 mentioned above. I love the lighting, but you'll very likely need to remove the stock gage cluster and maybe also the key switch

That set up does look awesome, but will it fit a 2006 250s. I noticed it said for KLX450 07-09. Post those pics as soon as you get a chance. Definitely want to see it.

It looks awesome, but are you saying that it would not fit your stock gauge cluster, so you had to completely remove it? That might be more than what I am wanting to get into. Did you change out your side front plastics by any chance? Seems like it looks different than my 06 250s. But might just be the angle. I have been looking for alternative plastics for the sides both front and rear and the headlight.

I forgot to mention this, although it's relatively easy.

Yeah, you have to remove the stock gauge cluster and the ignition unit. I will take a picture here in a minute. It's not that hard of a job and in my opinion is worth it.

Side plastics are gone. What you see is the Acerbis 3.7 gallon super tanker . I WANTED to remove the stock gage cluster and headlight assembly to reduce weight and for improved lighting and Vapor Computer. The key switch went along with it. Not quite sure what you could shoe-horn in behind the X2. My X2 headlight was the "Fit-All" kit. If Jhoff ordered the Kaw specific model, I'd be interested to know how its different.

I like stock. For me personally, I'm not a fan of aftermarket lights or gauges. However what I am a fan of is people making the bikes exactly how they want them.
