FD are you going back to Wabeno this fall? I was at the spring Ride for Research with some buds. Had a great time. If you're still alive and end up riding the fall big woods ride we will have to meet up. I'm already signed up.
Recognize any of this?

The MX track was fun, the Enduro trail off the back was pretty good, they all were actually.

That's my bike right next to yours. I remember when you guys came in to lunch. You walked right past me. The red one is my friend's bike. I think you were camped close to us too.

My bike actually isn't in the lunch stop pictures, I was just taking pics of all the other klx's I was surprised to see. Which one is yours? The one with the orange helmet, or the one with the green hand guards? We pussed out and stayed at a motel nearby. I was glad for a warm room and hot shower. If you see me at the fall ride (are you planning to go?) holler at me. I will be with the same guys. The Aprillia is easy to spot.

You made a good choice on your new BMW. My husband has a G650X-Country. It's a great bike, and I enjoy riding it. Smoothest bike I've ever ridden. I think you'll really enjoy it, especially on the road and seconary dirt roads. Should be a great all-rounder for you. Enjoy your new ride. Maybe someday you'll talk your wife into a second bike. I managed to talk my husband into two bikes each, and before I met him, he did not like motorcycles at all. So maybe someday she'll come around and maybe even want her own.

Old and dead for sure. However, I'll add something that has become more apparent since 2011. With a government hell bent on trying to tell us more and more what to do, where to go, and how to do it...why or why would you want a wife who does the same?
