Default Tack gauge cover

I crashed my bike on a hill climb in the woods this weekend and ripped off a rear turn signal and buster the plastic or glass cover on the tack. Tried to order both online and of course the cluster cover is on backorder. I leave for Colorado in just over a week and don't think I will get the cover in time. None of them on ebay either. Anyone ever fix one? I am going to try and take the cover off and remove the broken glass and get a piece of plexiglass to cut and fit to place. Hope it works as I don't think I want to get much water down in the cluster. Any other ideas?

There is the option of the Trailtech Vapor for about $125, but your deadline probably prohibits that too. On my Vapor I made a cover that will even stay in place while trailering the bike at any highway speed, and it works perfectly when parked during a big rain. Find a plastic bottle or container that is shaped or can be cut/trimmed to fit the head of your panel. I realize you can't see what's going on instrument-wise, but maybe it's better than ruining the electronics.

If I cannot fix it with plexiglass, duct take over the tac is probably how I will go.
