depending on which side you accidentally lay the bike down on, thats the side gas dumps out on....

OK, whoever has the stock vent lines, can someone repeat the cup of water experiment one vent line at a time?
If either tube can be submerged (one at a time) and the bike still runs, then I'd say Silver Otter has a good point.

I did back before I did the mod. One at a time. one had more vacuum than the other but they both pulled water up.
Did the engine stop running?

The thing to do is give it a try your way and see what happens. Be sure to post the results. You may save some work for the guys coming along.

I run one vent linesup and one down.
I put the downvent lines in a glass of water.
I startedand revvedup the motor and it run normally.
I believe this is a good solution to high water.
And less stuff under the gas tank, which I like a lot.[/align]
